JC Health Solutions was founded by Julian Canuelas, a former professional athlete with a passion for helping people protect what matters most.
Originally from Puerto Rico, Julian moved to Florida to pursue opportunities both on and off the court. After playing professional basketball, he transitioned into the insurance industry, bringing with him the discipline, work ethic, and people-first mindset developed through years of competitive athletics.
Julian’s experience taught him the importance of preparation, resilience, and trust — values that now guide his approach to healthcare. He saw firsthand how confusing and impersonal the insurance process could be, and set out to build a service focused on education, transparency, and genuine support.
Today, Julian is dedicated to helping individuals, families, and businesses navigate private healthcare options and find coverage that aligns with their needs, goals, and lifestyle.
